Hi, I’m IVANKA – photographer and visual artist working at the intersection of documentary, fine art, and commercial narrative.
Based in Berlin my practice moves between commissioned work and
personal explorations —always driven by curiosity, aesthetics, and connection.
I create images that go beyond representation: intuitive, tactile, and emotionally resonant.
Whether in a campaign or an exhibition, my focus lies on human presence,
visual rhythm, and the poetry of everyday structures.
Trained as an advertising photographer and holding a BA in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography (Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts)
I’ve collaborated with brands such as Aeyde, Ivy Oak, and Westwing,
and exhibited internationally —
including European Month of Photography Berlin,
RAW Phototriennale Worpswede with Ostkreuz Agentur,
and Kunstquartier Bethanien.
In 2018, I published Der weiße Fleck — a photo book on the former Stasi prison Hohenschönhausen, exploring memory, freedom, and the traces of history.
Alongside commercial work, I’m deeply connected to analog photography.
Working on film allows me to slow down and translate perception
into timeless color prints, available as limited fine art editions.
This commitment to analog quality and tangible materiality
is central to my artistic signature.
Photography, for me, is a language of connection —
a way of building bridges between people, ideas, and worlds.
Let’s create something that resonates!
