KALTE ZUTAT

“KALTE ZUTAT” is an intermedia art project that examines the mechanisms
of consumption, preservation, and collective memory.
The title “Hand in Aspic” serves as a central metaphor: it stands for the preservation of a fragment of reality that is fixed by the cold, gelatinous shell of the media or memory—often alienated from its original context.
This media art project was developed during Schmiede 2024 in Hallein.
It was created in close artistic collaboration with Anna Reinhartz and Miriam Schmidtke.
